My guest David tragically lost his mother in 2019. He was driven by a desire to honor her memory and her entrepreneurial achievements through the founding of the DD Project. In this episode, we dive deep into the origin of the DD Project, David’s decision-making process for selecting and producing wines, and some of David’s favorite wines he’s produced for the DD Project. 

David Britz is the founder of DD Project Wines and the DD Entrepreneurial Foundation. Started in honor of his late mother Diane Rizzo, all of the proceeds from DD Project Wines go toward the foundation’s work of supporting and developing female-owned businesses via grants and educational opportunities.
