Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the wine options at your local grocery store? Well, here are three of my go-to bottles of wine to buy at the grocery store or big box store like Total Wine!
BONUS: They’re all under $15! 🥂 Louis Jadot Macon-Villages Chardonnay Don’t let the word “Chardonnay” scare you! This wine is fresh and smooth, the perfect combo for a great white wine. To be honest, you can’t go wrong with anything Louis Jadot, they also make great Pinot Noir and Gamay. Notes:
🍷 Campo Viejo Rioja Reserva For a great red wine on a budget, one of my first picks is Rioja. If you can find one labeled “Reserva,” that’s even better. It basically means the wine was aged longer and the grapes are likely higher quality. I liken Rioja to a good Cabernet Sauvignon. Notes:
🍾 Segura Viudas Brut Cava Finally, you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg for good sparkling wine. Spanish Cava is made in the exact same way as Champagne, so you’ll get similar sized bubbles and that really delicious fresh bread aroma that comes with a good Champagne. Notes:
