Looking for cool wine spots in Seattle?
Ever have friends or family in town and wonder where to bring them that’s unique, fun, and fabulous? Here’s a curated list of my favorite Seattle wine bars that never disappoint. Whether you're after cozy vibes or eclectic pours, these places have you covered. PS: You don't have to wait for a special occasion to check out these amazing spots! Wine Bars 1. Chez Phinney Set in Phinney Ridge and focused on smaller-production and natural wines, this self-serve bar boasts 24 wines by the ounce, plus local beers, bubbles, and non-alcoholic sips. Pair your flight-perfect pour with charcuterie or local truffles. 2. Le Caviste Located in downtown Seattle, this bistrot-à-vins is a warm and inviting refuge in the bustling heart of the city. Wines are chosen with care, priced to drink every day, and accompanied by charcuterie, AOC fromages, and a few specialty plates from its tiny kitchen. 3. The Barrel Thief A wine & whiskey bar/restaurant in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood, featuring a full dinner menu, cocktails, 500 whiskeys, and one of the largest selections of wines-by-the-glass in the city! 4. Doe Bay Wine Company Great for exploratory wine lovers! Doe Bay champions fine wines from small producers, along with beer, cider, and sake. It's like a mini travel through small-batch, globally inspired selections. 5. Bottlehouse Charming and cozy, this wine bar resides in a restored 1905 Craftsman in Madrona. It showcases natural wines, seasonal small plates, cheeses, charcuterie, and hosts community events. 6. The Grape Choice Located in Downtown Kirkland, this female-owned wine store & bar has been around for 40 years. Known for a large international & domestic wine selection, it offers tastings, events, and a gorgeous outdoor patio. I hope you fall in love with these spots as much as I have! Cheers!
