August's Virtual Tasting has already happened!

Come Back Soon!
September's Virtual Tasting Will Be Announced 9/9

Previous Tasting: Alsace vs Mosel Riesling

Picture
Earlier this year we did a comparison of two French Sauvignon Blancs from neighboring regions and it was a huge hit! So, I figured…let’s do it again with a different grape.

This time we’re exploring Riesling! And while these two regions are technically in two different countries, they are not far from each other and they’re both incredibly famous for their Riesling. Keep in mind that Riesling comes in different sweetness levels.

If possible, I’d recommend finding two dry styles of Riesling (one from each region) but if you end up with a sweet or off-dry style, that’s totally fine! Riesling is best with a chill, especially in the middle of August! So place your wine in the fridge overnight and remove it about 20 minutes before the tasting!

Tickets are $30 and you can choose between the two dates below!

All levels welcome! These wine tastings are both approachable and full of interesting information (yes, I'm that good!)

Canadian Winemaker Q&A
With Katie Truscott of 1 Mill Road
Thursday, August 21st at 5pm PST

Virtual Event
We’ve met so many amazing winemakers from the US…it’s time we meet one from our neighbors to the North, Canada! Plus this is a great opportunity for our wonderful Canadian members to get to enjoy some wine while we chat with the winemaker. I myself haven’t had a lot of Canadian wine, but everyone I’ve tried has been amazing.

I already have it on my wine trip bucket list to go to the Okanagan Valley someday, so I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Katie Truscott of 1 Mill Road in the Okanagan for a Q&A with the Crew. She came highly recommended from my Canadian wine friends!

Get your questions ready and be prepared to have a lot of fun. Don’t forget, you’re welcome to pour whatever you have available or have no wine at all! This event is meant for you to learn directly from the winemaker, whether you can taste her wine or not!
